Caerphilly County Borough Council working in conjunction with Welsh Government and all twenty-two councils in Wales has established and leads a single commercial procurement channel via a dynamic purchasing system (‘DPS’) for the provision of technology and associated services. Since 2019 the EdTech service provision has successfully delivered several investment initiatives to help transform the way digital technology is accessed and used for teaching and learning in all schools across Wales as part of the HwB Programme. The DPS has evolved to also include the provision of corporate requirements that can be accessed by other public sector bodies across Wales. In addition to EdTech provision, Caerphilly also lead the Welsh Public Sector Collaborative Food Group (WPSCFG) framework. This framework leverages the collective purchasing power of multiple public sector organisations in Wales, promoting value for money and sustainability. Designed to meet diverse needs through a structured approach, including robust quality standards, detailed specifications, and clear guidelines for Suppliers, strongly emphasising compliance with food safety regulations, environmental sustainability and social value. The EdTech DPS and Collaborative Food Group framework aligns with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 and positively demonstrates procurement best practice.

Ffrâm24 is a multi-supplier framework for building materials and associated services. Our ambition as a Wales only Framework is to provide a quality supply chain for Welsh public sector, charities and third sector organisations and in return, support our communities. This provides Wales with a great circular economy and keeping the Welsh pound local. Welsh Government fully endorses Ffrâm24 and supports it as a natural successor to the National Procurement Service (NPS) building materials framework. Mae Ffrâm24 yn fframwaith aml-gyflenwr ar gyfer deunyddiau adeiladu a gwasanaethau cysylltiedig. Ein huchelgais fel Fframwaith Cymru yn unig yw darparu cadwyn gyflenwi o ansawdd ar gyfer y sectorau cyhoeddus Cymru, elusennau a sefydliadau trydydd sector er mwyn cefnogi ein cymunedau. Mae hyn yn darparu economi gylchol wych i Gymru ac yn cadw'r bunt Gymreig yn lleol. Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn arnodi Ffrâm24 ac yn ei gefnogi fel olynydd naturiol i fframwaith deunyddiau adeiladu'r Gwasanaeth Caffael Cenedlaethol (NPS).
